Deborah Merlin’s mission was to become an advocate for her special needs twins. Medical professionals only offered drugs. She sought alternative methods, did extensive ADHD and other health-related research, and kept impeccable records. In 1993, she co-chaired the Westside Cities Council to help promote Public Law 99457, part H, to implement early intervention services from birth through three years of age for children at risk. In 1990 and 1991, she coordinated outreach to pediatricians (under Public Law 99457, part H) and coordinated presentations at hospitals to educate pediatricians on early intervention services and resources for children at risk from infancy to three years of age. She is a frequent guest speaker on radio shows through out the United States and Canada. She is a consultant to parents who need support, provides resources regarding their children’s individual needs, and she is an artist.

Dan Towey has been in the wellness industry for 23 years and a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist for 20 while also studying Naturopathic Medicine. He is a wellness Educator and Well-Being Coach to his clients and customers. Though a highly competitive athlete for 25 years in triathlons, it was his own personal journey to finding and maintaining holistic balance that assisted him in conquering Lyme disease, undiagnosed for 38 years. His approach that “Health-ing people is Wealth-ing People” forged the discovery of the successful combination of tools that are unique, simple, profound, and have universal application for the newborn to the most senior of citizens. These include Cranial Release Technique™, Access Consciousness Bars ™, and Kangen Water ™. When combined together, they have been HUGE missing pieces of the puzzle for achieving wellness for clients with multitudes of symptoms.

Dr. Alis Kotler Panzera is a women’s health nurse practitioner with 10 years of clinical experience in female urology with an expertise in the management of IC and urinary incontinence. Dr. Panzera earned her Master’s in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Drexel University. Her dissertation looked at sleep quality and IC symptoms. She has written and lectured extensively in areas including IC, overactive bladder, and urinary incontinence. She has presented original research projects on interstitial cystitis and urinary incontinence at various national meetings. She has been a co-investigator on several clinical trials on interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder. Dr Panzera has served on the planning committees for national conferences in women’s health and urology. She currently serves as the Director of Nursing Research at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Linda Salin was diagnosed with IC in 1989. She started attending a support group within weeks. When the leader moved, Linda took over the group. While attending an ICA national conference in Orlando, Linda volunteered to transcribe the taped conference sessions. Shortly afterward, Linda became part of the staff of the ICA and has worked out of her home in Florida since then. She has participated in Internet radio and local newspaper interviews, provides information at international medical conferences, and guides IC patients to appropriate healthcare. Linda can be heard on the podcast, Brace Yourself: Curves Ahead, offering tips for IC patients on how to navigate the healthcare system. Linda has been married to Terry Salin for 44 years, and has two married daughters and two grandchildren.

Marian Long RN, has worked in many facets of nursing including: ambulatory care, long term and home health care, psychiatric hospital care, a women’s counselor for a church, in doctor’s offices, and on the Med/Surgical floor and staff development at Mercy Hospital in Grayling, Michigan. She is a nationally certified advanced practice Holistic Nurse through the American Holistic Nurses Association and has completed her Master’s Degree in Holistic Nursing. She is also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and is currently completing her Doctor of Naturopathy degree through Clayton College of Natural Health. She uses and teaches Healing Touch, Imagery, Aromatherapy and pain management with nurses at Mercy Hospital and the community. Marian especially loves doing Healing Touch and Guided Imagery as well as teaching community classes in Aromatherapy and General Wellness. Her passion is helping people advance to their optimal wellness.

Jenn Prothero has been on a spiritual path for several years that led her to taking Doreen Virtue's Angel Therapy Practitioners Course in Kona Hawaii. She has been amazed with her journey finding that every time she decides to open a door, she finds that there are lessons to learn and beautiful gifts to find within herself. She also found that the people and situations that have been sent to her are divinely ordered. She says we all have angels around us. She hopes that her experiences and gifts will help you learn how to work with your angels, and live a more harmonious life. She has written a children’s book called Fairies Teach Forgiveness.
