
Kari Dunn Buron, M.S. is an autism educational specialist who has worked with children and young adults on the autism spectrum for more than 30 years. She was one of the founding members of the Minnesota Autism Project and developed the ASD certificate program for educators at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2003 she received a self-designed Bush Leadership Fellowship that allowed her to work internationally with a number of scientists and researchers in the area of social cognition, education, and autism. She is the award-winning co-author of a textbook entitled Learners on the Autism Spectrum: Preparing Highly Qualified Educators, The Incredible 5-Point Scale, and the author of When My Worries Get Too Big, A 5 Could Make Me Lose Control and A 5 is Against the Law!, and Adalyn’s Clare.
